Flap Type Non-Return Valves

Flap-type non-return valves can be installed in both vertical and horizontal pipelines. The flap is manufactured from PTFE and is mounted on a tantalum hinge to ensure maximum corrosion resistance.

These larger sizes of flap –type non-return valve are, like NRD type non-return valves, fitted between standard buttress end components using longer coupling bolts. They can be used in both vertical and horizontal pipelines. As they are manufactured from PTFE, no gasket is required on either side of the valve between the PTFE face and the standard glass buttress end. RKP type non-return valves incorporate a tantalum hinge and are supplied complete.
