High Discharge pumps are self priming acting on regenerative principle. The periphery of the impeller has many blades for adding energy to the fluid being pumped. As the fluid flows from inlet to outlet the fluid pressure increases progressively ensuring a non - pulsating high discharge & high pressure fluid flow. These pumps are designed for continuous operation handling only clear liquid, free from any suspended particles.

At rated head & rated RPM, tolerance on the stated capacity = ± 10%
These Pumps are meant only for fresh & clear water. If pumps are used otherwise then validity of the performance table ceases.
The discharge indicated in the performance table is for a positive source of water. The capacity reduces if supply is intermittent.
Direction of rotation is indicated by an arrow on the suction cover of the pump.
Maximum suction lift is 8 m. Capacity, however reduces over 4 m suction lift.
Prior to starting, valves on suction & delivery sides must be opened.
Before starting pump for the first time, it must be filled with water to ensure priming.
Once pump is primed, no subsequent priming is necessary.
