Honed tubes of high accuracy and surface finish are made in materials like MS, SS, Brass or Aluminum. We mainly manufactures in MS ,Seamless cold drawn and Hot drawn tubes. Material grade ASTMA 106 GR B and ST 52/52.3 BKS/ Din 2391/E355. Honed tubes have applications in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders.
The company exercises strict quality control in the following way:
- Inner diameter checked by dial bore gauges throughout the length of the pipe
- Ultrasonic test conducted on sample pieces
- Physical and chemical test done on random basis Seamless Honed Tubes (Steel) with a micro-finish and highly accurate in bore size within tolerance H7 or equivalent. This will provide long piston seal life and prevent failure of the cylinder. The tube material is selected on the basis of application & working pressure. Different sizes of ready to use honed tube are available.
