SWELL TESTING APPARATUS
Remoulded Compacted soil, when soaked in water, absorbs water and swells. Swell Test Apparatus is designed to determine the swelling pressure developed by soil specimens moulded to desired densities at known moisture content.
Specifications: The outfit comprises the following: One loading unit, hand operated 5 tons capacity with two rates of travel. One high sensitivity Proving Ring 2.5 kN capacity with calibration chart and carrying case. One dial gauge 0.01 mm x 25 mm.
