Vertical Inline Multi Stage Centrifugal
PEW Multistage Vertical Centrifugal (Inline) Pumps PW series are non self priming with mechanical shaft seal and bearings lubricated by the pumped liquid. They are designed to occupy minimum floor space. All components like impellers, diffuser and shaft of these pumps are made of corrosion resistant stainless steel and designed to deliver the best possible hydraulic efficiency.
These pumps are powered by a totally enclosed fan cooled A.C. induction motor, which is suitable for continuous duty. Motor stator is made of low watt-loss silicon steel laminations assembled under pressure and rigidly locked in the frame. Dynamically balanced rotor ensures vibration and noise free operations.
Excessive Axial thrust is balanced by assembling the pump stages with equal number of opposed impellers. Balancing of axial thrust allows the use of standard flange mounted motors without special bearings. Working pressure on mechanical seal reduces to half, due to opposed impellers. The shaft is well supported in bush bearings ensuring noiseless operation.
